Imagine my surprise when a search on one of the search engines for werther's gave me the following recipe:-

1 measure of absolut
1 measure of kahlua
1 measure of Bailey's
1 measure of Creme de Cacao
1 measure of Butterscotch Schnapps
2 measures of Single Creme

Unfortunately, butterscotch schnapps seemed impossible to get hold of in England, so despite buying all the other ingredients, the Werther's Cocktail remained unmade.
But then, while browsing the shelfs of the local Tesco, what was found, but a possible Butterscotch Schnapps substitue (Butterscotch Cream).
Now, after a bit of adjustment to the recipe, I managed to come up with a cocktail that had an after taste which was the same as a werther's original!!.
Unfortunately however I did not write down the quantities involved, and since then, attempts to repeat it have failed. But here were the ingredients I used, so if you want to have a go.....
